An interesting chanter by the maker of the Howard low whistle.
They look nice. Think also of how much timber the maker will save by not having to allow for key blocks. For every six or seven chanters made with thinner stock, you’d get enough for another chanter. Unless your pilot hole travels too much then you’re losing a lot of wood truing it up anyway.

I’ve seen thses, they are superb. It is an upgrade I shall make to my Howard Chanter when I’ve got the dosh. Incidently the make the same keyed chanter playable by a left or right hander.
