The ó (hold ALT down and push 0243) doesn’t mean an emphasis, it affects how you pronounce it. Beyond that, that’s all I know. I think.

Means ‘whistle’, by the way - tin whistle is feadóg stáin, flute is feadóg mhór (lit. ‘big whistle’).
on’t worry if you can’t get it right. I spent three months in Ireland and 6 weeks in language classes, and still had natives laughing at me whenever I tried.
