As piper7 is so skilled a feadanai, certainly he is blessed with flutulence! He would do well to remember Marsyas’ example.
How sad…the wee piper7 writes rather well. I would be entertained were it not for the sneaking suspicion that he has white powder dusting his nostrils…or an Xtra Y chromowhatzit. He DOES seem to deem himself an alpha something-or-other.
It occurs to me that elliott probably set up this discussion up so that he would be notified by email if anyone posts to this thread. Which means he has received six emailed notices of messages that had something to do with his original topic.
All the other posts (including this one…sorry) have put numerous emails in his inbox regarding an ongoing battle that he neither instigated nor seems to have any interest in. Can’t say I blame him for being a little put off.
I’m not under the impression that this board needs to be a shiny, happy place, but perhaps it would nice to start a new thread for this whole topic.

ADDENDUM
A quick clarification based on piper7’s message posted below:
When a user chooses the notification feature, the entire message does not get emailed to that user.
It’s an email that says "Someone has posted a new message to XYZ topic on the Chiff & Fipple Flute forum. You can view the post here [insert link].
Still, if you get twenty of these from a thread that has gone way off your original topic, it’s not fun.
Sorry. My original explanation was a bit fuzzy.

Oh, if I had thought anyone was getting my post by e-mail I would not have written it. That was not my intent to bother anyone directly. I too hardily agree, particularly based on the two above very frightening and disconcerting posts that this thread too has gone far enough and is no longer fun. Time to move on boys–nothing more to see here.

Let’s hear it for Flutulance!
