Yes, I played for the Dallas Cowboys in 1960 their first season when they lost 11 and tied 1… as I was esplaining to my Daugher in law she said she did not know that about me. My son jumped in and said tell the whole story Dad. ??? Yes I was in high school band and we were invited to play at their half time.
At least you couldn’t take the blame for their record. 
Weren’t they the Texans then?
I don’t think so. There was a Dallas Texans team that did not very well in 1952 and in 1953 they were sold and became the Baltimore Colts.
Oops! The team I’m thinking of became the Chiefs. They were in Dallas in 1960.
