Char and I had the great good fortune to go to a house concert last night with Joanie Madden and Ladies cohort Mary Coogan. They brought along singer/guitarist Bruce Foley who did a couple of lovely tunes.

I’ve seen Cherish The Ladies many times in concert halls and outdoor venues, but in this kind of setting the music was a whole other thing

Afterwards, there was a session and I had the great good fortune to sit in with Joanie, Mary and a load of other first rate local players. I got to play The Maid of Mt. Kisco with The Maid of Yonkers. Doesn’t get much better than that…
