Ok…so now that Deej has pulled a “Talasiga” and come clean about Heroes, I am going to as well. We just got the first 2 discs from season 1 through Netflix…holy cow! What a series! I’m dying for the next disc to get here, and I so did not want to get involved with some silly TV show. There are definite X-Men references (the kids keep comparing the characters’ powers with X-Men characters), and the whole thing is just way cool…I’m not even done with season 1 yet! I don’t know what I’m going to do when I have to deal with it on regular TV…I love that I don’t have commercials with the DVDs.
So I’m right with you, Deej. Fellow “Heroes Junkie”

I’ve skimmed parts of this thread. I am a mild heroes fan, and I’d rather not spoil things by learning what comes next.
It is being shown in the UK at the moment (as I understand it, it’s gone worldwide). We’ve reached the episode where Hiro tells Ando he’ll be back by a count of five, and he isn’t.
I was telling my son about it. He has ME and sleeps a lot, so we don’t see much of him. I called up to him that heroes was coming on, and he came down the stairs laughing. He said that he was playing world of warcraft with a bunch of people who had all left in the previous minute or so, explaining that they had gone to watch Heroes.
My daughter sometimes watches it as well. She says she finds it too confusing, but really I think she finds it too scarey.
And I enjoyed “My Name is Earl” very much, too. The season just ended here on UK TV.
