Here's a drone for intonation practice

I commonly practice for good intonation by playing against a D drone. I’ve posted a 3 minute drone for download (about 2.5 Megabytes) at:

http://www.uptospeed.net/mp3/eskin/d_3min.mp3

To save the file, right click on the link and select “Save target as…” and pick a destination.

3 minutes not long enough? Select “Repeat” from the Media player “Play” menu.

I hope you find it useful…

Cheers,

Thanks Michael! I used it this morning for practice. Great for tunes where you have to half hole…

It’s funny… I had my computer muted before and when I un-muted it, your drone was playing along with this sort of dance/trance track that was playing on Radioio.com (internet radio station that I listen to a bunch). I thought that you had put the trance beat with the drone because your drone was the tonic note of the tune! Then the drone ended and the tune kept going! I sat there confused for a few seconds then realized what happened! Trippy!

Happy Saturday,
