Help me with a quick website test.

Could some of you guys look at

http://sites.google.com/site/rhpissue99/

and tell me if everything looks ok? I’ve embedded a Google Doc Presentation and i want sure it runs on a variety of browsers and set-ups.

Thanks very much.

Dale

Looks fine in Firefox 2 + Windows.

Just plain text on a white screen. Didn’t you used to have an orange background? I’m not sure what it is supposed to look like. I’m using Firefox 3.0.4 on WinXP.

djm

Looks good on XP and IE 6

Looks great on Firefox 3.0.8 run on Vistas!

Looks spot on here on Firefox 3.0.4 / XP.

Very easy to read and very well laid out.

Slan,
D.

Safari on OSX. Looks good to me.

I felt that the fifth anniversary comment was an underhanded attempt to make some of feel old.
Effective…but still

I sensed that the “natural object embedded in someone’s head” was a cheap shot at djm,
as we all know he has no natural object embedded in his head.

The subscribe page could do with a bit of space between the Name/Email fields and the Join/Unsub buttons.

Firefox 3.0.4

Looks fine here - OS X, Firefox 3.0.4

100% artifice and durned proud of it. I made it myself during ceramics hour. :sunglasses:

djm

Looks ok to me.

Kind of a lot of restrictions, though. Do you really feel that giving people a lot of negatives is a good way to go? I mean, one mention of that “no haiku” and that’s all I’m thinking now. Haiku about dead pets. Looong haiku, too.

On Safari via Mac OS X, here, and the page you linked to looks good.

it sure runs in Opera on Vista.

Looks ducky in Chrome on Win XP, too. But you probably shouldn’t care about Chrome.

500 words now? Creeping bloat. Tsk.

Opera 9.23 on XP - everything that looks like it’s supposed to do something does something.

-Likewise good on Safari 3.2.1 on Max OSX, v. 10.4.11

Looks good in Opera 9.62 and vista.

David

edited to add, works well in vista and Firefox 3.1 beta 1

The first page looks a bit weird on Firefox 3.0.4
Maybe it’s because I’m using a foreign language version.

I’ll try to describe to you in which way it’s looking strange:
“submission guidelines” are overlapping with “special calls”, so they cannot be read entirely.
There are orange bars between lines in the “special calls” section.
All of the other pages look allright.

Again, all of your site seems to work just fine on Mac OS X, except that I didn’t sign up for Google Docs, so I didn’t get to check out your slides.

However, Google did recognize me, by username, but I already have enough Google accounts, thank you.

So, do you have to sign up for Google Docs to see the slideshow?

ANd thanks to all for their help.
