Hello from a Newbie in Seattle...

Hello all. I’m new to the Forums, been looking around a bit. I’m a composer here in Seattle, and I play and make Shakuhachi. I’m into some Irish flute, but I’m just learning about wind instruments in general, and I’m VERY into the Japanese thing.

So, are there any flute players in Seattle, and do you ever have meetings? Let me know, maybe I can meet a few of you.

The person you want is Hanz Araki. He’s a stellar flute player as well as a 6th generation shakuhachi player. His band An Tua will be performing at the Conor Byrne in/on Ballard this Friday.
