He must have really had to go....

Here’s the story:

Here’s the scene of the crime:

Here’s the suspect:

 People are strange.

You know re-doing the BR on a tight budget requires some ingenuity…

Yeah, but how many private homes have a urinal in the loo?

I saw this earlier today on the news.

Brilliant beyond belief.

If the dude ever turns his mind to serious crime, though I doubt it somehow, then we will see something that goes beyond crime and into Art.

Mind ye, the best thieves never make the news..alas.

Slan,
D.

Heee hee hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I was just thinking - it took the guy 40 minutes to remove it - in a rucksack, no less - I wonder how long it took yer man to install it? 4 days?

Some years back there was an armed robbery in the biggest Bus station in Dublin.
The crack was that something like six hundred employees got paid in cash and two guys walked into the cash/ wages office about ten minutes beforehand and grabbed a huge amount of cash and then, being dressed in Busmans uniforms, walked out, and away.

It was all over the news and the papers, biggest story of the week.

Easy money for those who dare.

Two weeks later, the same two boys walked in again and had another bite of the cherry and grabbed the same amount of money again.

I knew the two dudes well and although not one of them had ever heard “Pretty Boy Floyd”.. they were true to his memory.

A lot of poor people had a big drink that year..

And it was coming close to Xmas at the time.

Ah, memories.

Slan,
D.

The really amusing thing to me is that the suspect looks rather like a SF Bay area Chiffer - caused me to do a double-take.

Oh, BoneQuint? You been in England lately?

Hmmm the miltary wing of the amature plumbers association are at it again!

This kind of random guerilla maintenance work will certainly get the ire of the union!

I expect a rash of S-bend straightening incidents is imanent. God help us all.

Its easy to scoff, but this kind of psychosis amongst professional plumbers is on the rise in most civilised countries, and is not receiving the sort of serious consideration or treatment that it needs. A urinal on its own is nothing, of course, but this is, in fact, a desparate cry for help from a troubled pipe monkey. It takes very little to push one of these eople over the edge, to escalate from a few public toilets to entire en suites, from the occasional public lavatory to entire office towers. Oh yes, you may mock me now, but just wait until you find yourself scrambling from room to room in the middle of the night, frantically trying to figure out where the bathroom went as the pressure builds and builds … :boggle:

Hmmm. Why go from bathroom to bathroom? Are you saying they took the hole in the floor with them?

Yes. It was really quite excruciating! :astonished:

djm

Why not use the sink, an empty bottle, the cat dish or aim it out the back door? Nobody needs to go through that kind of pain… yeeesh! :really:

One?

No one has picked up on the more serious implications. This is an international Art Forger, counterfeiting the works of Marcel Duchamp.

How anticlimactic. :really:
