Have you heard of this Irish author?

Hello fellow whistle players,

I just thought that maybe one or two of you might have heard of the Irish author – Maggie Furey. She is an excellant writer of Fantasy.
A series that I am reading right now is called Aurian.
There are four books in the series, and I am wondering if there are any more. The series didn’t really end. I am in supsense here and I am curious to know if any of you know if she has written any other books for the series or a different series? Or where I could find them?
If any of you have any info for me, can you let me know? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
~Mimi

Mimi, have you tried a search in Amazon.com?

Not yet. Thanks for the tip tyghress. ~Mimi

Nah, but if she’s anything like James Joyce, I’d run REALLY FAST.

I did my senior term paper over “Ulysses.”

It was a bad bad BAD paper…

Mimi,
Found your books on Amazon.com

enjoy,
jon

If you’re interested in fantasy and Celtic music, check out Charles DeLint’s “The Little Country” ( his other stuff is very good too). Charles is a fiddler, and the book even has a section of his tunes at the back.

Thanks Jon and brewerpaul! I appreciate the replies. I will look into both of those. Thank you. ~Mimi

I wonder if Maggie Furey is kin to the legendary Finbar Furey. He was a Master celtic storyteller/bard/musician and instrument maker. It might be worth a look to search his name as well Mimi.

Thomas Hastay.

hey, if you really want a good story involving Ireland read The Mermaids Singing by Lisa Carey. It’s great and even has a tin whistle in it!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I really appreciate it. I will look into that Caryn and Thomas. Thanks. ~Mimi
