Does anyone have a haunted instrument? Details please. How do you know? Do you know who it is? Friendly or not? One of more? More active at some times/tunes than others? Do you plan on haunting an instrument yourself?
Would a Parks Ghost Whistle count?
If it’s haunted it does.

I have been told I play “like a man possessed” a couple of times. That couldn’t be good!

I wish I could remember the details, but I read a story in a book called “Mysterious New England” once about a haunted house that would only be “activated” by the playing of a particular tune. If someone played this tune in the house, the lights would flicker, doors slam, etc. I don’t remember if a particular instrument was required.
Sounds like the ghost was a music critic.
Check out “The Book of Kells” by R. A. MacAvoy. A particular tune opens the passage from the present to Ireland at the time of the creating of the book of Kells.

You could maybe start by graduating from plastic bottles on the bottom shelf to the glass ones next up and see how it goes. 
You folks have ruined it, ruined it I tell you, for someone who had a really great story. I hope you’re satisfied. Maybe somone could just make up a story about a haunted musical instrument. See if you can add a mermaid to the story, if you don’t mind.
