handmade Powell headjoint for sale

Apologies for deviating from the trad flute world, but in case there are others like me who play both ITM and classical, here’s something that may be of interest: I’m selling my beloved handmade sterling silver Powell headjoint made in 1998, Boston style, .016″ thickness, with platinum riser and 14K gold crown. This is the best headjoint I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned a lot of them. $2500 firm. US sale only.

I normally play my Irish flute in sessions, but occasionally I bring out my silver one for those cool twisty box/fiddle tunes. I want to get a wood headjoint so it will sound a bit more appropriate for ITM; hence the sale. (Plus, my orchestra days are over, and that’s really where this headjoint belongs.)
