It’s been a VERY long time since I’ve been an active poster. But I thought an update was in order…
I AM* still alive! Very much so, and in fact I am back in the shop and at the lathe most days of the week. I am making instruments again at a more suitable and sane pace. I am indeed selling instruments again, but I will no longer be taking “orders” or “commissions” for work.
I am however, working from my “Interest List” on my website. (http://www.greenwoodpipes.com).
I would very much like to hear from old customers. Especially those who would still like an instrument and whose order I had to cancel when I was forced to close up the shop due to health concerns.
I am currently completeing approximately 1 D/C whistle set per week on average. When a single or a set is complete I will run down my list of interested individuals in order of first-come-first-served on the Interest List. The only exception on this order of preference will be to those who had previously been in my order books when I closed up the shop.
It’s been a long road to get back to this point, but I am happy to be making music and instruments again. My thanks go out to all who had wished me well and sent me their prayers!
