Just wanted to put in a good word for a really nice trad CD. Forgive me if this has already been mentioned.
By Chulrua, (Pat Egan, Paddy, O’Brien and Patrick Ourceau) it’s been out since 2007 but came in under the radar from Shanachie. “The Singing Kettle” feautures fiddle, box, guitar and vocals but fluters might enjoy a tune or two.
The title tune is especially nifty on the fiddle. Nothing wild or extraordinary - just tasty music played in a nice balance.
