Gratulationerna Sverige - for winning Gold in Men’s Hockey at Torino. After the drubbing the Swedes took from the Russians, I wasn’t sure they could come back, especially since the Finns appeared to be unstoppable. But the Swedes came back and held on, even against a pretty intense onslaught in the last few minutes. Great game! Well done!

I acctually wached the game together with a finnish girl who was here to visit me this week. It was very interesting indeed 
Having her here acctually gave me a bit of sympathy for the finn’s. They haven’t won any golds at all these games. So I didn’t rubb it in her face too much when we won.
But this game was very important, and it felt great that we won. I’d think that anybody who’s not from here would have a hard time understanding the rivalry between Sweden and Finland. There’s always a bit of rivalry among neighbours, and there is between Sweden and Denmark and Sweden and Norway as well, but not even close to the rivalry between Sweden and Finland. Any game between us two are important, and an Olympic final was a nightmare, until we won
This was described as the game of a century in both Sweden and Finland, and to be honest, I was scared to death that we would loose. But we won!
