I use two mikes when I perform. The primary chanter/reg mike is an AKG C3000, for the drones I use an AKG C1000 with its hypercardioid adapter. The drone mike mounts on a clip-on arm that attaches to the main mike stand. I’ve also used both mikes alone for just the chanter.
