Michael Hubbert made a B chanter for me about two years ago that I am very well pleased with. Anyways, I just got an email - out of the blue - from the guy that was such a fantastic example of customer service, I wish I could pass it on.
Glad to hear it, especially since I just ordered a set from him! Not that I really had any concerns, since I got to talk with Michael quite a bit at the SCUPC tionol last weekend, and I got to see him fixing up minor problems (e.g., a sticking key) for his other customers. He obviously does fantastic work and is committed to getting things right (and keeping them that way).
Now I just have to wait… That’s the hard part, I’m afraid. I’m trying to use the time to improve my playing as much as possible so I can make good use of the new set when I get it.
