In my never-ending quest this past month to find the “perfect” knock-around whistle, one to have with me while on the computer and to carry in the glove box of my truck, I rediscovered my Generation Nickel D this afternoon. Now,I have a full set of Generations in both brass and nickel and,to my ear, none of them are worth a damn except the nickel D. Of course, I prefer nickel whistles, after my wooden ones (and of course, my Burkes and Hoovers ), but I find that the nickel Generation D I have is just an absolutely beautiful sounding whistle. Hardly any chiff at all, and crystal clear in both octaves. Just call me a lucky guy, I guess!! ![]()
Slippery, slippery, slippery!

Good for us!

Mine sounds great, but I hate the slipperiness of it.
