For those who haven’t gone to bil’s site, you’re really missing something. You get all these wonderful flute mp3s of them legendary old (mostly) flute players. Its quite educational and entertaining if you’re into flute IR-trad.
In the meantime, I’m waiting for the big list of Catherine McEvoys to cycle back…
Last time this came around, didn’t somebody talk about indexing the tunes played by these guys? I half-recognize some of them, but I’m names are not coming to my lips, so if that was ever done, I’d like a pointer to it please?

Loren,
Ta for the link!
In a previous post you mentioned Emer Mayocks “Playground” I have been looking to buy the CD but can’t find it anywhere, Can you point me in the right direction??
Cheers,
Dave.

Heya Dave,
I just checked at http://www.celticgrooves.com and they list it in their catalog. Does that help?

Thanks Loren.

At least it’ll give me a starting point for deciphering any that particularly hook me (I know it’s untraditional, but I like to know the names of tunes I learn…
