I have a Practice Set available for sale at the moment. It has been made by me in the Taylor Style in Blackwood, with Brass ferrules and Imitation Ivory Mounts. The Chanter is fully keyed and has a Blackwood Chanter top. The leather bag is hand stitched and airtight and the bellows are very efficient and are made in the French style, with both inlet and outlet on the inner side paddle, totally preventing the piper’s arm blocking the inlet valve. They are extremely comfortable to play for long periods, owing to the curved wooden waist fitting and the plush padded elbow cushion. Neither bellows and bag will need seasoning in the future.
The Chanter plays in tune at A=440Hz, throughout two full octaves, It comes with two reeds, playing at a medium pressure and further reeds are available from me.
