Tim Britton Half Set in D
Avoid the multiple year waiting list! These pipes have been a great workhorse for me. Fully keyed blackwood chanter (C natural, F natural, G #). Drones are all in working order, recently adjusted by the maker in the summer of 2011. Chanter and drones are African blackwood. Mounts and Ferrules are brass. Leather Bag includes Green velvet cover with Gold fringe trim. Bellows are trimmed in brown leather padding.
This set is in near mint condition. Everything functioning and buzzing along- all going very consistently with no problems. Chanter plays in tune throughout both octaves. The set has been played in sessions, in rehearsals, and on stage and has never let me down.
Three chanter reeds included (each with its own sound, one recently adjusted by the maker Winter 2012).
Pipes are in excellent condition.
Asking price $3500. New, these pipes are $4000 with a very long waiting list. Avoid the waiting list and save some money!
