Hi all,
update 4th september
Of The four interested chiffers three are skint the fourth I remembered and have PM’d, so its open to all, sale or trade - whata ya got ![]()
you may have seen a few months back my delrin and silver keyless Hammy was up for grabs,
I decided against selling at that time but had quite a few interested chiffers e-mail / pm me,
I did have a pecking order and said I would be in touch if it ever came back on the market well
it is now, it is open to any chiffers but I would feel bad if I didn’t offer it to the guys that first showed interest, I am back out in Ireland on the 28th working, and hope to see Hammy regarding
a fully keyed flute, yes I could get this one pin mounted, but would like the whole flute to be a custom fit for me, I have picked up a very nice Fentum 8 keyed flute ( bottom c keys have been removed and it has 4 repaired cracks but it plays well, so I will be ok until the Hammy is completed, I have deleted all my pm’s so have no idea who enquired, the price is the same as before £650 sterling which equates to roughly $1050 or 750 Euro, Hammy doesn’t advertise the delrin but due to it being more difficult to work he charges 950 Euro for keyless D,this is built to the same specs as Hammy’s blackwood models it has silver rings, plays the same beautiful full tone with an amazing bottom end, the only difference is that it doesn’t have the rings on the tennons which you see on the blackwood flutes, these rings are re-inforce the tennon ends where the wood is at its thinnest, the delrin is very very strong and then tennons do not require the extra strenght.
I managed to sell an old Gibson SG 1972, with some other gear so my budget is pretty much sorted, so I am also offering the Hammy up to trade for quality High d whistles
cheers sponge
