Jim, i am a beginner so an audio sample would not impress anyone. The McGee Rudall was my first wooden flute. As soon as I purchased it from the Irish Flute Store I ordered a keyed version from Terry which took about a year and half to complete. My embouchure has come in to the point where I can play notes accurately but my breathing still has a long way to go to maintain any sense of rhythm. Now with these keys i have to figure out what to do with them!
In the mandolin world most offer a 48 hour appraisel period for used instrument purchases where the seller offers the buyer the chance to return an instrument if they are not immediately satisfied with it, with the buyer paying for return shipping. Same offer with this flute.
