FS: Jubilee AL Low D [SOLD]

I have a Jubilee low D aluminum whistle with two (2) bodies, one standard and one custom with offset holes.

Here’s a link to the Jubilee page with a picture of the same whistle. With one body, the whistle normally goes for $85.

I’m asking $50.

If anyone is seriously interested and wants to try the whistle out, that could be an option . . . just send me a PM.

Matt, I’m curious. The custom, offset hole body looks like one for a player with two left hands. Am I imagining this?

Thanks for including the ruler. That helps for those of us with concerns about the reach. I’m off to measure my fingerspan again.

he he he heeeeeee, Oh Jennie, yes, I have two left hands

Actually, the reasoning behind this, and I admit it could be flawed, is that holes 4 and 5 offset in the normal way, which helps reduce the amount of piper’s grip needed for MY hand. The 6th hole is offset back the other way so that I can use my finger tip, which for me is more desirable. However, the great thing about this whistle is that I have the original standard hole configuration, so even if one doesn’t like the custom tube you still have the original whistle, no loss.

However, I got a PM this morning so the availability is pending his confirmation. I am at my computer all day, so as soon as he confirms or says “no thanks” I will update the post . . . but it’s too early to tell at the moment.

Beauty. I wouldn’t have thought of that.

The things we do for love of this music. All kinds of contortions.
