I have my Dixon Duo, with whistle head, by my side as I type. I always keep it by my PC since I graduated to a Burke Viper Low D, and tootle away as the mood takes me.
This was my first low D and I found it pretty easy to start with. I have smallish hands and found the stretch easy enough. I must admit I haven’t got on very well with the flute head but i reckon that’s probably my fault…
It’s a looooverly whistle, I think, especially for $70. Mind you, what’s $70 at today’s exchange rates? About £4.67 I think…
