The one I’m selling is just as pictured and has no visible degrading to it at all (no patina, teeth marks, etc.). It is, as they say, ‘as new’ (well, almost). It’s scored with Michael’s initials and dated 06/2007. I can vouch that it hasn’t been played in the past year and, from what I know, hardly every before that. There is no thumb hole.
For this forum, I suspect it doesn’t need much more description.
Very lovely whistle and it seems a shame for it to languish in my whistle bag. So, if you want it just make me a reasonable offer by PM… (Michael’s new price is $190 USD plus postage, I’ll take less than that obviously). I’m open to offers. Happy to take PayPal, or suggest an alternative method. If you’re further afield than UK/Ireland/EU could you factor some postage into your offer?
I’ll include the original pouch but the whistle will be packaged up in a proper protective whistle tube for postage. I lost the informative paper leaflet with finger chart and care instructions (shucks, you can’t have everything in life I guess).
