A keyless Bryan Byrne blackwood flute. To my knowledge I’m the second owner. This is a fantastic Rudall style instrument. Its in perfect shape. No cracks or issues. I know I’m going to regret this down the line, but I need the funds to finance my 6 key John Gallagher that will be ready next month.

Byran’s flutes have deservedly received good reviews on the board. Please check some of the previous threads for comments. As noted in one of the old topics, Byran didn’t put any sort of maker’s mark or stamp on his instruments. I was a little concerned about this when I first purchased the flute, but after playing it and having it confirmed on the board I have no doubt about the flute’s maker. I’m asking $1050 + shipping. I will only ship to US addresses after several bad run ins with European customs.

This is a very good flute.
Don on occassion attends our session, which will be moving locations by the way, and I’ve played this Byrne.
It’s a player.
Then again, I’ve always been a fan of Byrne’s flutes, especially his Eb work.
