The Impempe Bb was mine, and I traded it to Susan a little while ago, only because I find that I just don’t play high whistles even when I have them around. I prefer hearing the lower tones of my Low D’s, or my flute.
But, this thick walled aluminum Bb has a beautiful voice-you can read the reviews here of Ian’s whistles:

I imagine the Reyburn is a great Bb too-but there is a pretty big difference in price compared to the Impempe. The Reyburn is of course tunable, and the Impempe is not tunable.
Susan, does the Reyburn Bb have the Delrin head or is it Maple?
As far as the Impempe is concerned, absolutely right. I have 4 Impempe-whistles, D, C, F and Bb. People around me love the sound of especially the Bb. Furhtermore it’s a WHOLE LOT OF WHISTLE for VERY LITTLE MONEY.
The Reyburn Bb has the delrin head. I have also been leaning toward the flute lately and play whistles less. Both play very well. Different in tone and aesthetics for sure.
