FS: 2 whistles and 2 flutes

Hello everyone:

My keyed flute from Terry McGee has arrived at my house, but I won’t be home for a couple more days to play it. It’s a custom made 5088 and I’d like to post a review when I’ve had a chance to become well acquainted with it, Got high hopes.

In the meantime, I’d like to join the housecleaners by selling four instruments, all of which I bought new. Perhaps the most interesting of these is a 20 year old O’Riordan high C/D whistle set that is all delrin. Ordered it from Indiana. Second, is an approximately three year old Copeland blackwood keyless D flute. Third is a low D tunable Chieftain whistle bought in 2007. Am not sure of the model. Last and least is a Lark in the Morning ebony flute that is about twenty years old. Have no idea how it compares to the current ones.

I’m sure someone might like to see pictures, but I have no idea of how to post them. Could someone tell me how its done? I’ve never sold an instrument on this forum or elsewhere and would appreciate experiences of Forum members regarding successful selling tips. I am also wondering whether it is preferable to go the Ebay route.

I’ll just point out that you should cross-post to the whistle board. The O’Riordans and Chieftain oughta generate a lot of interest there.

Thanks for the suggestion to cross-post to the Whistle Forum Charlie. I have done so.

Guide to Posting Images

After posting my message saying I had an O’Riordan C/D set I got a lot of inquiries and reached a deal with a buyer. I got nearly as many inquiries about the Copeland flute and sold it too. That leaves the tunable low D Chieftain I was hoping to get $250 for. I can send pictures. And then there’s the Lark ebony flute. To my not great suprise, I got not a single question about it. For a Lark I’m going to put it on ebay. Thanks again for your interest, wish I had invested in O’Riordans 20 years ago and retired five years ago.
