For Sale: Copley--Boegli six key--Sale Pending

This flute is in excellent condition, as new, it’s two years old, excellent
volume, it plays well. Discoloration of some of the cork is all the
wear I can see. The head is lined with silver. I’m asking 1900 dollars, shipping, insurance, and pistol case
included. This is more than 300 less than new price.

Grey Larsen played this flute one night at a session and
praised it heartily.

We’re back in St. Louis subletting, our internet access is chiefly
at the public library, so if I’m slow in responding, that’s why,
but I will be online every day.

Best wishes, Jim

Jim, you might get more hits if you wrote: “For sale” rather than FS. I didn’ know what that meant.

So, Ludwig, have you seen the Copley
D flute advertised on snortandsuckle?

Ya, Ya, Hans!

Do you believe the tale that Copley flutes
are made by slave children
in an underground
dungeon in Cincinnati?

Slander, Hans! Agents
of the recorder syndicate spread this gossip!

Ah, Ludwig, glad is my heart to
hear this truth at last. I long for the melodious sound of the Copley D.

Yah, Hans, it honks like a lovelorn
goose flying over the
steppes of central Asia…two and one half
octaves of sheer goose angst, perfectly
in tune, lovely, sweet,
rich and deep…robust volume…
we hear it high above us, as
in a dream.

No more, Ludwig I beg you.
Ah, ah! I grow faint with desire!

But Hans, I have not yet mentioned the
six exquisitely crafted silver keys…

Very enticing, Jim.

actually FS is pretty much frequent
you should get updated on these terms…

well, wouldnt that then make you curious as to what it meant, and make you click on it?

Those insidious recorder syndicate agents, very dangerous.

The truth is the Copley flutes are made in beautiful Loveland Ohio - the land of Love outside of Cincinnati. Great Flutes.

They are not made in the forsaken dungeons of Cincinnati by angry mutant child elfs. (hmm, I think I’m mixing I’m mixing Lord of the Rings with X Men III.)
