I have an essentially new set of bellows that David Quinn made for my C 3/4 set set that I don’t need (have another bellows), am looking to find it a new home. The hooking mechanism, which goes from behind the pad to the front of the bellows, allows considerable flexibility in your arm motion.
They are a “give away” at that price. This is a grand opportunity for anyone out there with a leaky bellows or a set of bellows that just doesn’t get the job done. If you’re working that bellows arm a lot…buy these. Your airflow management will improve drastically. It would be money well spent.
The bellows crafted by David Quinn are like none other. I suppose that can be said about any maker’s bellows! But, you get my drift.
Well, just to set the record straight… nothing that I’ve ever done or accomplished would I construe as “luck” or “good fortune” …it’s all been due to hard work…and being at the right place at the right time…errrrr …luck…yeah…and good fortune…uh huh…
Truth be told, I have indeed been lucky and also honored with the opportunities I have had within the realm of and as a consequence of pipering. I have met some interesting and wonderful persons (and some not so interesting and not so wonderful persons… but I look for the good in everyone, regardless) and I am honored to count many of you as amongst my friends.
As most of you know, I already have a perfectly good set of bellows by Mr. David Quinn. This set of bellows will be used mostly as a loaner for needy local students and will probably be passed on when the “right” local potential owner, established piper or not, comes along and wants them or is in need. There be junk bellows out there folks and I’ve seen sets that prevented students from learning as readily as possible. This set is the antidote…a mighty effective one if you ask me.
If any of you REALLY DESPERATELY need a set of bellows then let me know by e-mail at glands@comcast.net and we’ll talk.
So… ummmm… what are you really saying here?.. really… ummmmmm… yeah. Oh, wait a gopher’s minute in new dirt!!!.. YOU bought that fine old set of flappers dint you??? You almost had me fooled, you scoundrel you, and that’s a durned simple thing to do!!!.. ehrrrrrrmm… uh… yup.!
