I’m selling a David Quinn custom-made D practice set. The chanter is made from Osage Orange wood with matching rosin mounts. It’s one-of-a kind, and plays beautifully. Benedict Koehler made the reed. If interested, write me back.
Very nice!
What year was it made? Any pictures?
Good morning, I am very interested. I sent you a PM.
Hello there. David made the set for me in 2012. I forgot to mention that the bellows were made by Michael Dow. It has four keys. I’ll attach a picture. I’m in Ithaca, NY. I’m starting with an asking price of $3,000. I would also need to add shipping to that. A few others are already interested, also.
Wow what a beautiful instrument!
$3000 would be a stretch for me right now. But a very fair price for what you’re selling. Need to really think on it but I’m sure it’ll get snatched up in no time ![]()
It would be more accurate to consider this a Koehler & Quinn chanter. I’m sure you’ll have no problems selling it.
I’d be interested in the Dow bellows if you end up parting it out.
These pipes are sold. I was amazed at how quickly they went…
