I love this…

I went through a phase a few years ago where I kept compulsively buying fabric on ebay. Why? I haven’t the foggiest.

The ebay song has a nice beat, but the lyrics hit a little too close to home. For example, I bought four nearly identical South African kalimbas, all in separate ebay auctions. For the life of me at this moment I am not sure why I thought that I needed four of them. Also, I am the proud owner of a one-of-a-kind David Letterman fat ass bicycle seat that now resides on my exercise bike in front of my TV. Fast Al, who sold the seat to me, forgot to mention the big tear in the seat’s covering. I should have looked at Al’s ebay feedback comments a little more closely.

I have a friend whose small farm house is filled with boxes of bargains that she found at yard sales and auctions. The house is so full of junk that you can hardly move around. Forget about trying to sit on the sofa; it is filled with boxes as well. Speaking of addictions, the acquisiton addiction is what we are talking about, folks. The ebay addiction is probably a more lethal variant of the former.

I had to send this to some other folks- it’s just too funny, and too true.
