I’ve been thinking about putting a couple keys on a PVC flute that I have previously made. Is there any good design that would be recommended for carving a key out of wood? I’m looking for a design that is not too delicate, doesn’t leak, or at least it doesn’t leak that much, and is simple and relatively easy to make.
Do you want them to open or close when pressing down?
I want the hole to open when the key is pressed.
Did you checkout Daniel Bingamon’s site? He’s the only person I can think of keying things in another way than block mounts or pin mounts and metal keys. He’s also doing it on PVC bodies.
