Flute diameter, was RE:At Last! The Great Flute Holes Spacin

Complying with the request to not clutter up the parent thread (great idea BTW), I’ve starting this one. Would it be possible to also include the diameter or circumference of the flute at the T1 hole? IMHO, this is a significant factor in a flute’s comfort. Total weight (for a keyless) and balance point would be nice too but complicates things. For low flutes (Bb and A), it would be nice to know the spacing between T1 and the embouchure hole. It would be a good idea to post the flute’s key too. :wink: TIA

Circumferenace is a great idea as is the embouchure to #1 length for low flutes. I’ll add those the the list.

I added “inner diameter of the bore at the end” as well. Should be interesting and may indicate something about air requirements and volume (though embouchure likely has more influence).
