At the moment, each file has the imaginative name of the page it came from in the book. as I progress, each will have a separate name, and links will go by name, page number or song number.
If you have any problems, let me know and I’ll correct them.
Oh, the discussion forums work as well, although there are no users there yet.
Let me know what you all think!

Oh, and I mistakenly saved them all as Gifs, instead of Jpg format, so they are a tad large and may take a bit to download on slower connections. Sorry!
Better Jessie?

Actually, I believe GIFs of printed black & white images can have a smaller file size (and better legibility) than JPG’s, provided they are reduced to 2 colors.
Ridseard is quite correct, 1 bit GIFs will be wa* smaller than JPGs in this application. Additionally, GIF uses a lossless compression format that will result in a higher quality image than the lossy JPG images.

I think you are right. It’s been a while since I dealt with straight black and white scans. One thing I did notice is that some of the scans show a “ghost” image of the back of the sheet. I’m going to have to try backing the sheet with a black paper to get rid of it.
There are songs as well. The majority are tunes, but there are some songs, so from a low percentage point of view, what I posted as a title originally is correct. hehehehe
I’ll check the compression/size on the .png’s. I’m not worried about the copyright issues, all of these are part of a collection that has a no copyright, freely disrtribute disclaimer in the front of the book.
