I just got the (tin whistle) recording Feadoga Stain by Mary Bergin and had my mind blown. Can anyone recommend similarly awesome and inspirational solo fiddle ITM recordings?
“If The Cap Fits” and “Sweeney’s Dream” by Kevin Burke are well worth checking out.
If you don’t mind a little back-up guitar, “Masters of Irish Music” with Frankie Gavin and Alec Finn is also good.
These CD’s made me buy a fiddle and start taking lessons, so I guess that counts as inspirational.
If Alec Finn is there, that only makes it more like Feadoga Stain
