Having played the uilleann pipes for some time now
the scope of my views have expanded immensely.
Case in point is the never ending dilemma of what
we sometimes endure in the pursuit of fashion.
I’ve taken a more sympathetic stance on the lengths
to which some of us will go in that activity I.e. I can
never find shoes to match my bag.
That said, other musicians have it so much easier in
meeting that end particularly box players.
Never thought I’d hear a man saying that, but pipering does alter the conversation. How about reversing your approach? Get the shoes first:
… and then go find the same fabric - shouldn’t be too hard - and make a bag cover to match. Your sartorial acumen will be the talk of the tionól. Although I would steer clear of leopard print for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that it’s gone frankly a bit stale. But that’s just me.
