Saw Eoin last night in Cobblestone for his cd launch. Hes a funny chap, quite likeable, most of the tunes were of his own composition and it is very much in the kila style. Still enjoyable though.
Anybody get the CD yet? opinions?

I have it. It’s not trad. I have to say it’s not bad though. The backing is very nice.

One of the backers, Des Charleson, sent me a copy. Yes it’s not traditional but it doesn’t pretend to be either. It’s just good music.
Eoin is a sound lad too.
You could do worse than having this in your collection.

as Francie is just playing the bodhrán on this recording. Amazing piper though too.
