About 12 years ago I bought an A4 book in a Cork bookshop. It contained stories from the author’s life, transcripts of tunes and how they had influenced him. I remember the rocks of bawn featuring and stories from living in London. It was a great book and I found it inspirational.I gave it as a loan to someone who was tired of playing and never got it back. Can anyone help me to trace the title?
It made me think of fluteplayer/poet Ciarán Carson’s “Last Night’s Fun”, but Rocks of Bawn is not featured to my recollection. Also, not a novel. more of a memoir.
