Elf Song Whistles, August update

Hello All!

Just a few notes to let you know what we are doing and what we have been up to.

Book 1 of Sandy Jasper’s tin whistle tutorial & CD is finally ready. It features many different types of tunes, basic ornamentation, exercises, tablature and accompaniment chords. The CD features the tunes played slow, medium and fast, or for slow tunes, it has them plain then decorated. Guitar accompaniment and the melody are on left and right speakers so that you can control their levels.

The book is basically an extension of the program I teach my students at performing arts camps, workshops and weekly for Parks and Rec. For more information, please drop us an email!

Special of the month: We now have our own T-shirts! For the month of August, we will be offering a free shirt with every D or Low D whistle order.

Coming soon! Elf Song Music series: “A Score of Scores”. Each book will feature 20 tunes of a certain style or genre. In the fall we will be releasing our first 2 books in the series. One will be 20 Jigs and the other 20 Christmas tunes. They will come in your choice of Sheet music with or without tin whistle tablature. All will have accompaniment chords and a CD with the songs played slow or easy, then up tempo.

Thanks everyone and enjoy your summer!

Don’t forget to mention the elves and fairy pictures on the cover. The photo shoot for that cover was the strangest day of the year for me. I arrived at Sandy’s brother-in-laws house that has the garden of all gardens. Terraces, trees, steps, arches and lots of secret places. I was surrounded by elves, fairies, brownies and I do believe leprechauns (sp?) all of various sizes and all playing whistles also of various sizes. One
fairy had a low D that was taller than she was. All in all very strange.
