Does anyone happen to know if Eamonn Dillon is still playing at Maguire’s Hill in Ft Lauderdale? I am down visiting and would like to go catch a show if he is. Thanks.

I just called Maguire’s Hill and they tell me he hasn’t played there in a while.
Didn’t someone on the list say that he was back in Ireland?
I seem to recall a conversation I had at the Florida Tionol this past February where the topic was Eammon Dillon not instructing at piping classes this year as he was back in Ireland. I can’t say that this is 100% fact, but given the above contributions to this thread, I’d say it is pretty likely.
Last I heard Eamonn was stuck in Belfast.. The last time I played with him was at Waxy O’Connors on 17th St. Causeway (Ft. Lauderdale) about 4 years ago.. He was playing with a band called Curfa the last time I saw him.. I’ll see If I can hunt him down. If I can find the number to Foley’s Gift shop, I’ll call and see if the owners know where he is. They’ve been close friends since he came to the states..
What about in Spain?
I will try to call his in-laws in Ft. Lauderdale. He and Erin live with them. I had a lesson with him in July, he had just returned from Blefast, where he was stuck for 6 weeks for some reason. His cel doesn’t work, maybe changed the number.
I’ll try on Monday, I have their business number only. OK? OK.
