I was disappointed to have no real enquiries about this item and so felt that maybe the price was too high so will lower it to $950 which is a bargain I think. It really deserves to be played !!
I have decided to part with my 8 keyed Eb/D flute as it just sits in the cupboard and I rarely play it now and as my wife says to me, " How many more do you need ?" She is quite right ! I bought it many years ago in England and this did me well for a long time until I discovered a Terry McGee one. I believe it is of German or French origin made about 1930. There are no makers name or marks on it. If you are genuinely interested then please email me for some photos… It plays very well and if you play it in the extended position the head joint is in in the photo then it plays as well in D.. In one of the photos there is a scratch along the head joint. It does not appear to be a crack and for all the years I have had and played it, it has never been any different. I will negotiate a price of $Australian 1,200.
A picture or two would certainly help you sell the flute.
Also maybe you don’t want to filter for only ‘genuinely
interested’ inquiries. People may not be that interested
before they get more info.
This flute has now passed into other hands along with two others which I had considered parting with and a chance contact yesterday will hopefully see them go to good homes.
