i just had a go with it and it seems lovley, maby a little gruff in the first octive, but (and i must stress i was only at it for a few minutes) lovley round the top notes.
could well edge in at the the top of my whish list
Was that the high D, a low D, or something else?
it was the high D i played. i cant imigine them making a low version. it would take a wheelbarrow to move it!
Yep, a low D in the same style would make a handy weapon.
I like the solid high D a lot (a bit more than the Trad), so a solid brass low D sounds intriguing. My guess is that it would not be as spectacular as I would hope, but go on Tony, make my day - prove me wrong.
