Dixon 'Practice Flute on Ebay'

I spotted this tonight. I’ve got a two piece so not going for it but it’s a flute and if you look at Tony Dixons site they are Polymer. I guess the seller may not be familiar with them as this is a nice flute. Obviously not tuneable but a bargain for somebody and I see the seller will ship to Europe.

I believe the practice Dixon in question on eBay IS pvc, not polymer. Dixon makes both kinds, and his polymers have a conical bore (at least, the three-piece I have does) while the pvcs are cylindrical, like this one in the photo on eBay.
FWIW

Let me just say that these flutes are a very good bargain for a whistler who wants to start playing the flute. It’s not an instrument you would want to play session or concerts on, but it’s good for learning basic flute embouchure and grip/hold technique. I have a 2pc, it’s playable and a complete flute newbie doesn’t need a better flute really.

Now the Dixon 3-piece polymer IS a flute good for sessions, at least, that’s what I’m using in the meantime before my McGee “Grey Larsen Preferred” arrives (in two years!). (My, what patience we flute players develop!)
