Yes, today Lesley has been sitting in a chair! She found it almost disorientating, having been on her back or propped up for so long, mostly with her eyes shut, too! Must have been quite scary. She was so pleased with herself, though! The staff didn’t let her stay long, as she looked shattered after about half an hour, but I know what she was up to: working on moving her feet! She did it with her hands and now she is going to do her feet, by sheer will power if necessary. I never realised how strong she was, until this illness. I think if she really sets her mind to it she can do anything. Boy, am I proud of her!
And she looks so absolutely appalling! She is normally quite pretty, with bobbed gold (and silver, these days!) hair that curls, freckles and a nice slim figure. Now she is as white as a sheet, a bag of bones and her hair, after all the surgery on her neck, is either off or sticking straight up! I can only assume she hasn’t yet seen herself in a mirror. There will be trouble! And she has never looked more gorgeous, to me.
Yet again, my thanks for the support of a wonderful community.

Great news… these things proceed by baby steps, with steps backwards along the way. Tell her to keep up the good work.
So glad to hear it! Keep it (her) up!!

Cracking news, that’s made my day Roland.
It’s good news, but you might wanna edit out that description of how she looks, later.
She’ll crack you over the head for it, despite disclaimer at the end!!
Best wishes again.
