In previous threads we heard that Dervish are representing Ireland in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

Here are the four songs that they laid before the people of Ireland.

It seems they chose song D.

I have nothing against Dervish, but if they win I dread the thought of CD racks full of ‘The Best of Celtic Mist Compilation No. 15.’ I can also foresee ‘Riverdance on Ice’ and an Andrew Lloyd-Webber musical version of the The Wanderings of Oisin.

I’ve got tickets to see a double bill of Dervish and Lúnasa in late March.
If those songs are any example of what’s in store, oh dear!
I guess my husband will enjoy a nap.

I think they had some good songs. I don’t like the lead singers voice very much, sounded a little out of tune at times??

Anyway, I tried contacting The Shade of Bloomfield with my brand-new Ouija board, and I’m pretty sure he’s still on this side of The Veil: I got the answer “404ERRORFILENOTFOUND”. Go figure. Even Hades has gone virtual.
