This is a great CD which I got hold of at the Willie Clancy week 4 weeks ago. I’ve just posted it on the “Recordings” section at “thesession.org ” - see link below :

I love it when musicians dig out old tunes from their local area, and this is one of the best I’ve come across. Thoroughly recommended.

Yes it is, and the very first track is played on an Ormiston “Alto” flute.

I buy one recording per month and listen to it for a full month.
I am loving this recording.
Love the way he plays with the rythm on some tunes.
Best flute album I’ve bought in a while.
