I’m curious. Has anyone ever measured the decibels of their chanters? I realize they all vary quite a bit. But I’m still wondering.
Also, curious to know the decibel difference between flat and concert sets.

Software such as the popular Shakuhachi tuner does have a dB level meter built-in. So yes, it’s likely that some people have measured the loudness of their chanters.
That said, it’s unlikely that any numbers posted here would be very meaningful. dB are a relative measure, and tests would have to be conducted under the same acoustic conditions, with the same audio chain, at the same distance, using the same weighting, etc. But an individual with a collection of different chanters could post numbers that might be casually interesting, at least in relative terms.
